Homework Answers

Answer #1

In the economy, state and local governments are responsible for supplying Police activities, Education, Local roads and health services as the governments collect taxes and spends it on such activities to improve the standard of living and enhance access to improved facilities for the common man.

On the other hand reducing and controlling inflation is under the purview of the central bank of that country which determines the stable level of inflation and controls inflation via adjusting interest rates, such as the Fed does it in the U.S.

Thus reducing and controlling inflation is not the primary responsibility of the government.
