The theory talks about four major distances ie cultural , political , geographical and economical distance. The theory pictures investment projects and role of these distances in affecting those decisions.

Strengths

: detailed analysis of investment descions based on all factors

: more practical approach to overseas investment , oursourcing etc

: risk , credit and other economic indicators.

Weakness

: doesnot provide critical nature of industries
