Are inequalities in health a reflection of socioeconomic status? Why or why not?
Answer - Yes , the differences in the health are the reflection of the socioeconomic status. This is because , there are some class of people who are priviledged in some or the other way. This could be based on income or the social standing. They tend to be more healthy and have a better access to the healthcare facilities. They can afford it too.
On the other hand there are some particular sections which are outside the scope. They have been considered inferior , based on income , race and social exclusions. Thus the health care for them is somewhat different from those whom we discussed above.
Thus social as well as the economic factors , the increasing discrimination , income inequalities , all lead to the differences in health care.
