HOW did commodities (such as cotton, tea, fur, tobacco) transform people in the North American empire building up until the eighteenth century? (PLEASE elaborate on the individual commodities and give a good, full answer)
In early 17 centuries North America is divided into large colonies and are under British, French and Dutch control. After the British took over the entire regime of North America they used these colonies for their trades.
Cotton, tea, Fur and Tobacco all these products are cultivated in these colonies and these products are traded only to the British empire at that time. Thus making laws such as people will not get anything but the colonial empires will be getting eveerything.
Thus making British stronger due to these trades and exports. This all came to an end after the American revolution.
During those Cotton and Fur are having very much high demand thus creating a large revenue.
Tobacco and Tea estates are large in number thus these products are also large revenues.
