Answer #1

There can be many examples of secondary brand association.BMW is linked with Germany and all car manufacturers are following the strategies of Germany.

Take one Indian example ,Nokia is a established brand. When it was planning for mini laptop then it was named Nokia 3G Booklet. The purpose was to create a relation with customers. As Nokia has already maintained it's brand position then laptop with the same name was to create brand positioning in the minds of consumer.

Secondary brand knowledge can be boosted by bringing the same type of product in the market with some additional features. It can also be possible by linking the name of new product with the product already established in the market.

Discussion: (Please do not attempt to solve if you can not answer all!!!) The Strategy of Cultivating Interdependence All of life is an opportunity to think, relate, and work strategically. However, most people do not really think well, and they certainly do not think strategically by nature.  This IS something that can be learned! In Covey's chapter on "Paradigms of Interdependence," he talks about the "Emotional Bank Account" that we have in our relationship with others, and he identifies "Six Major...

The squash team has all its players injured and the coach decides to pick her squad from the soccer roster. Assume that there are no conflicts among the squash and soccer schedules - so any player is free to get selected for both squads (if deemed worthy). The constraint for the squash squad is that there must be at least one player on the squad (and at most n). Again, this squad should have a captain (picked from amongst the...

The market for laundry detergent is monopolistically competitive. Each firm owns one brand, and each brand has effectively differentiated itself so that it has some market power (i.e., faces a downward sloping demand curve). Still, no brand earns economic profits, because entry causes the demand for each brand to shift in until the seller can just break even. All firms have identical cost functions, which are U-shaped. (a) Is this market in long-term or short-term equilibrium? Explain your claim? Now...

If p(x) is a complex polynomial with real coefficients, it is well known that it can be factored into a product of linear and quadratic terms with real coefficients, or into a product of linear terms only if the coefficients are allowed to be complex. First, use Maple to write q(z) = x5 −3x4 −3x3 +9x2 −10x+30 as a product of exact linear and quadratic factors with real coefficients. By exact, I mean you should leave any non-rational factors expressed...
