For improving health care system, two conditions must be satisfied, first, health care coverage system should be comprehensive and second, quality of health care should be improved.

Competition leads to the rise in number of health care services providers. Further, competition among the health care services providers improves the quality level as well. Thus, competition in US health care system is considered good for US citizens.

But on other hand, some studies reveal that competitions in health care system leads to duplicacies of services. There is unnecessary wastage of resources. Thus, they argue that competition should be encouraged in health care system. In US, Competition is intense and many hospitals fail to utilize their capacities.
