He and his administration initiated a major infrastructure plan that aims to highly increase infrastructure and reduce poverty and encourages economic growth. Critics think that President Duterte and his government is silencing the opponents and muzzling the media. There have been accusations that the government is using drugs war to kill the opposition. One of the accusations was made in April 2019, when a video got viral accusing the son of Rodrigo Duterte for receiving money from me a crime syndicate.
