Policy-making is a dynamic process and involves an active interplay of numerous factors. Power and its role are among the main core components for effective decision making about complex policies. Although the definition of power is ambiguous however the position of power helps in better decision making and an effective implementation. The power can be manifested through multiple approaches such a capacity, resources, and knowledge. Power can influences processes and outcomes of the policy in a multitude of approaches like through the relationships among the actors, trust and an approach in which makers of policy act with tactical exclusions of specific concerns or people. We can say that the making of policies is a dynamic process and power plays a central role in this process and without power is policy just a wish list. The power is inevitable in the policies.
