1. These days airlines charge differently from different customers. During peak time (say festivals), prices are generally high because demand is greater and more elastic. Airplane flight tickets are too high on week days (Monday to Friday) due to lot of business travellers, as compared to weekends.
2. In modern world price discrimination is seen in booking early seats in aeroplanes, trains, uses etc. If one wants to choose a seat according to his need and suitability, he has to spend more as compared to others.
3. In pharmaceutical industry price discrimination is seen in the prices of medicines. In developed countries companies charge more for a medicine as compared to under developed or least developed country.
