Explain why the price of gasoline constantly goes up in summer and drops the price down in winter?
The price of the gasoline always get costlier in summer because the demand for the good increase in the summer season, people go more on the vacations, they drive more and that increases the demand for the gasoline at a higher demand the good becomes costlier.
Another factor is the supply, during summer some of the refineries in the US are closed for the maintainance, it decrease the supply of gasoline. At a lower supply the price of the goods increase in the market. IN winter the demand is less and supply is more hence the price is down.
