Answer #1

Answer - The system of promotion and relegation would mean the shuffling of position of teams based upon their playing performance. In a certain season , if any team of top interest could not play well , it will be relegated , and the team at bottom could come up. This will lead to the loss of the revenue for the team management . There is danger of losing the profits . The shared revenue between the leagues will reduce and the television revenue will also decrease. This will also lead to the loss of interest of fans in these leagues. Hence the system of promotion and relegation is not adopted.
