South Koreans are feeling pained for Japanese' actions over them during World War II, South Korean supreme court orders Japan to pay Koreans for the exploitation. However, Japan thinks it is not fair to pay Korean more than what it has already paid. As a result, Japan put pressure on South Korea by stopping trading chemicals; also South Korea responded this by boycotting Japanese products.

According to Japanese-South-Korean trade war, what is the prediction in 5 years regarding the event?

What can South Korea do to find the solutions?? What can Japan do to solve the problems?

If the Japanese' colonisation over South Korea during World War II is the cause, how can the relationship between Japan and South Korea be better??

Answer #1

Now itself the trade war between South Korea and Japan has caused significant deterioration of japan-south Korea relations to the lowest since the two countries normalised their diplomatic relations in 1965.If the situation proceeds like this the 11th largest economy in the world South Korean trade will lose its share in the world economy and the country's economy is going to face a severe setback in the next few years.

Solutions for South Korea

The south korean govt can have increase trade agreements lined up with its neighbouring countries like China and North Korea inorder to reduce the impact of trade war imposed by Japan on them.By having efficient trade agreements with these countries can help to develop the South Korean economy as well.

Japan's choices to solve the problems

Japan can provide reasonable compensation for the citizens of South Korea for the oppression and hardship they had faced due to Japanese countries and if japan does a peace treaty like that even the citizens of South Korea will have a healthy relationship with Japan, the entire trade war can be put off by that single decision.

Both the countries japan and south korea should understand that they are mutually interdependent on each other .The effective trade relationship between both countries can boost the economies of both the countries which is essential ,therefore both the countries should sign a peace treaty by agreeing to mutual agreements as soon as possible to restore both japan and south Korean economies.

During the trial, lawyers for the accused said that the men believed that the accounting decisions they made were appropriate at the time, and that the accounting treatment was approved by Nortel’s auditors from Deloitte & Touche. Judge Marrocco accepted these arguments.
