Rationalization, supression, and denial are three forms of defence mechanisms.

Rationalization:-

It is a type of defence mechanism in which a person's true motivation or the true reason for action is concealed and involves the justification of an acceptable behaviour to avoid feelings of guilt, Anxiety or any other Emotions.

Supression;-

It is another type of defence mechanism. It is a way of forcing unwanted information, feelings or actions out of awareness.

Denial:-

It is the most primitive form of defence mechanism. It refers to an unconscious way of refusal to accept any reality or a fact to which people cannot cope with or face the reality and admit the truth.
