Yes, despite having a good rebuttal a company should always be concerned and prepared for the worst, as despite having fake claims or allegations and company giving back a good rebuttal to them, anytime people or investors can lose their confidence in the company and it can start losing its value.

Thus, it is important that despite having a good rebuttal, the company needs to make sure that no false or incorrect news is spread in the market which can harm the company's image and make it lose its investor confidence.
