Homework Answers

Answer #1

Acquisitions are strong for Cemex compared to greenfield ventures as an entry mode because Cemex are quicker to execute than greenfield investments as they are already established and also purchase companies which are established in the new country, thus making easier to develop their business. They have good understanding of the demographic structure as well its market because they kept most of the employees from the previous company, thus save them time on research and investigation in each country. Furthermore they deliver the quality goods and customer service; and it will certainly improve their sales in the new venture in each country.
