Explain two methods used in analysing future manpower needs
Answer - The two methods are as follows -
1 - Work Study Technique - This technique deals with the estimation of the manpower requirement based on the length and the duration for which the work is to be done. Greater amount of work will require larger workforce than before and vice a versa
2 - Ratio trend analysis - In this analysis the manpower requirement is estimated based upon the past ratios of the work to that of labor requirement. Based upon the past ratios , the provisions regarding the current requirement are made with respect of manpower.
