The disadvantage of government owned airlines from an economic stand point would be like government employee are paid whether they work efficiently or not hence they do not get feel motivated for doing better work.selection of employees in government owned airlines is based upon political pressure hence these decisions are totally biased.government are less inclined to invest in infrastructure improvement.even government airlines does not focus on technological improvement.employess didn't work with full efficiently.
