Answer : A sink or swim policy means that a person has to save himself by their own means or efforts otherwise they fail. It is a situation in which a person is thrown in water , he must have to swim for survival otherwise died.

In the business scanerio person has directly put into an environment without training. If they want to survive in job than effort has to be made to cope up with the job.

Features:

  • Individuals has to make their own effort and succeed in an environment.
  • There is no requirements of motivator or leader . Every person itself is a leader.
  • Cheaper method as cost of motivator is low.
  • Confidence has been build up in the person
  • Result oriented policy
