With reference to the given war, the primary goal, achieved was the expansion the US influence upon the geographical regions of the Philippines in Asia and Carribean countries. The second goal was to flare the imperialist drive to expand in new areas and make strategic presence. It was only possible using war in that time and it happened between the USA and Spain. As a result of the war, the USA was able to spread its presence and strategic influence. The third goal was to protect the Americans in these parts of the world, their best interests and give them stabilized protection against other powers in the region.
