The 1960s were a turbulent time in the United States and in the world because of international crisis, civil wars, and disputes among people due to their culture, race, caste , religion etc. the world economies were facing instability.

War for civil rights: in U.S.A. and other countries of the world people were facing fighting for their rights due to which the world became a zone of civil wars. There was no peace among people and people were against the policies of governments. Most of the policies were in favor of elite people and rulers. People wanted to be free from exploiting policies such as slavery etc. to live a dignified life. All these wars and conflicts brought revolution in world history which paved ways for better living of common people
