A particular group of customers or organisation buying a similar product from a particular organisation is the company's target market and the attempts to reach the customers is called target advertising. For instance consider baby products where the target market is parents having infants and they have to target websites which sells baby products and apart from that e-commerce site also sell their products where the adverstiadv can be done through child care blogs etc.
