How would the following factors affect the supply of health personnel in labor market?

1- The number of new graduates increased.

2- The wage rate of health personnel decreased.

Homework Answers

Answer #1

1. If the number of new graduates increased, then the supply of health personnel in the labour market would increase as their is a direct relationship between the number of graduates passed and the supply of health personnel.

2. However, if wage rate of health personnel fell then the supply of health personnel would fall as due to the lower wages, people would choose other jobs over being a health personnel. This would cause a fall in supply of health personel and increase in their wages till it reaches the equilibrium.
