During the energy crisis in the United States in the 1970s, there was a vigorous public campaign to encourage consumers to conserve on their electricity use. People did reduce their demand for electricity and ended up paying higher prices for it! How could such a thing happen?

WAY FOR DEDUCTION IN THE DEMAND OF ELECTRICITY AND PAYING LESS FOR IT =>

1. BY USING ENERGY EFFICIENT PRODUCTS - By using energy efficient products helps in less use of the electricity in the house . It will help in lowing down the temperature of the house during summers as in the summer it already heat up the house from outside and inside but with less use of lights and closing the windows will help them to low down the temperature to normal .

2. TURNING OFF LIGHTS , FANS WHEN NOT IN USE - The extra use of lights and fans will lead to the heating up of rooms and is not so eco-friendly . So, by using less electricity and and switching off the lights and fan when not in use can be helpful for the people suffering from high electricity bills and high use of electric equipment .

3. USING LED BULBS - LED are the ecofrienly bulbs which is available everywhere in the market . It helps in low use of electricity upto 75% and not let the house to get heat up by the extra use of it and don't consume more electricity .

4. PLANTING MORE TREES - The main reason for the heating up of the environment and having too clod weather is global warming for which one of the reason is deforestation due to which is is increasing day by day . So , to avoid the imbalance in the weather and the temperature we need to plant more and more trees in our locality so that due to greenery people can be healthy and it will stable the temperature of the environment and leads to the less of electricity .

5. PROMOTION OF ENERGY EFFICIENT PRODUCTS AND INITIATIVE BY THE GOVERNMENT - By the promotions of the government for the usage of the electricity and providing knowledge about the effective and efficient use of the electricity for the less use of electricity . By the promoting the electricity efficient products by the government and taking initiative to providing it to every citizen of the nation on time so that they can be able to enjoy the benefit of the product in the reduction of the usage of the electricity in every society .

6. LIGHT SHADE PAINTS INSIDE THE HOUSE - The dark shade paint absorb more heat and due to this absorption the houses get heated alot and leads to more usage of AC and fan to cool down the temperature and the electricity will be used much .SO, the light paints will resist the walls to absorb the heat and help the house to be in normal temperature .
