What are the potential consequences to a company for ignoring unethical or illegal behavior? Please give examples to support your posting.

Company may have to face:-

1) legal issues.

If any company forms illegal cartel they will have to pay fine.

2) lower performance of employees

The one's who wishes to get easy success breaks protocol and do not follow the ethical behaviour leading to problems like fine and additional paper work.

3) employ relations

The one's with ethical and one's with non ethical behaviour do not get along and this creates lack of communication in the company.

4) company credibility

All these above defined conditions creates a problem of misconduct and non functioning in the company leading to a question in the mind of its customers about company's credibility.
