As an international student, explain whether or not you would be included in Canada’s unemployment rate.
As we know that, unemployment is a situation when a person is Willing and able to do a work but is not getting any work to do is termed as unemployed. In labour force there comes both unemployed and employed. The labour force is the total individuals in age group of 18-60 years.
When a student of Canada is studying in another countries university, he is included in the unemployment rate, because he is the citizen of Canada. As an international student (if student is of Canada ) than it is included in unemployment rate.
If the student of another country is studying in Canada then he is not included in unemployment rate.
Hope you got the answer.
