1. Religion shapes the values, ethics, and principles imbibed by people. It also gives shapes to the perspectives of people. The opinions of people are shaped by their values, ethics, principles, and perceptions. The domestic policy issues are, in turn, shaped the general opinion of the people at large. For example, in Islamic countries, the opinion of people are strongly shaped by the theological principles laid down in their religious books and by religious authorities. The domestic policies of the country are shaped by the public opinions which are heavily influenced by religions.
