Without customers a business cannot survive. Business must identify and understand their customers, and they can group these customers into segments with common characterstics.

Customer segment is very hard because it is very hard to understand a customer on the basis of following:

- geographic area of customers or where they are located

-lifestyle of customers ( habits, pastimes)

-psychographic ( social status, values)

-communication preference ( on-line , through an app Or store)
