How does JetBlue deal with Covid-19?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Covid-19 or Coronavirus, is spreading throughout the world leaving an indelible impact on the global economy. Airlines are under a lot of pressure even when there is a slight rise in the bookings. They are trying to make people’s safety their priority and for that they have to block many seats which is not sustainable for them. Similar is the case with JetBlue as they made it compulsory for the passengers and crew members to travel wearing masks.

They also made changes to its in-flight food and servings, so that there is as less as possible physical interaction between the crew members and the passengers.

Airlines are preferring to travel with 60% occupancy in flights for everyone’s safety.

Economically, due to covid-19, most of the companies are facing losses. Aviation is getting affected too including JetBlue. The capacity of JetBlue has decreased by 5%.
