ì have to do an automated holiday scheduling system. with some constraints, such as holiday entitlement, minimum number of staff levels in particular areas and balancing peak times. Any idea which algorithm should I use? Is Java with GA a good idea?

Java will be a better idea but instead of Java with GA python with machine learning will great suit for automated holiday scheduling system .

In my opinion for the scheduling algorithms and constraints using the datamining constraints we can schedule the partifcular condition so that the complexity will be reduced.

Java with GA is some what complex when compared to python

python is very easy simple and robust langugage

so in my opinion python with machine learning will be suitable.
