The three influencing factors for installing linux distribution is:

1) The most influencing factor for installing Linux operating system is that it is customisable. Since, linux is customisable, we change the look of the UI, login screen and user interaction.

2) It takes much lesser space to be installed as compared to windows operating system. It takes so less space that it can be installed with an existing OS and can be used to dual boot the device.

3) It is free to use and does not cost a lot of money as compared to other operating system. There are multiple developer community who regularly help each other if there are any issues faced by a person. This not only provides a free service but also makes the process easier.
