It is the minor or small unit of assets or resources which is allotted to user. The resource Block contains one slot , and the frequency is 180 KHz.

1 block of the resource could contain 12 subcarriers, (every single carrier frequency is 15 KHz ) in domain of frequency and 7 symbols [0.5 Ms] in domain time. So that the entire number of symbols for each single resource Block is 84 =12×7.

So that means each single resource block contain 84 symbols.

Based on modulation scheme every single symbol could adapt definite number of bits.

For 64 QAM modulation scheme, the no.of bits deliver or transported of each single symbol is 6.

For 16 QAM, it was 4 bits and for QPSK modulation scheme it was 2 bits of every single symbol.
