1. NFC or near field communication flag is used by many companies for marketing. They are the best way to exchange data contactless. To read NFC flags, one has to have an NFC-enabled phone. The phone is brought near the flag to scan it and it automatically decodes and reads the tag. The option is given in many Android phones in the WiFi settings section.

2. PRL update is used for roaming networks and most updated data on it. If PRL is updated, the phone can set itself in the location of roaming networks.
