The Line-Item-Oriented Grain Pattern usually tends to cause some
additive FACTs to occur (they are more likely to happen with this pattern)?
It is the Kimball dimensional modeling technique which includes the additive, semi additive as well as non additive facts which would have several business processes, as well as grain and dimensions along with the fact declarations. This would have a fact table with foreign key as they would have nulls that would be automatically causing the referential integrity and would have an usual pattern for addressing some of the scenario.
