Your task is to do the following:

1. Provide a cost and description of the new hardware you will be implementing
2. Develop a migration plan to move all current infrastructure to virtualization (this also means 0 downtime)
3. Identify and Upgrade the old operating systems and software in the current infrastructure
4. Expand the current infrastructure to include new technologies (eg. An MDM solution)

The first step is to input your existing or planned on premise infrstructure. starting with the basic calculator, you will have to input the following information :

servers:

1> server type

2>number of virtual machines

3>memory in GB

4>Hypervisor, guest OS and DB engine, if you input a server type

STORAGE

1>storage type

2>Raw storage cacpacity

3>percent accessed infrequently(if you use object storage)

you can add roes for multiple server and storage types. of neccessary.

The advance calculator will ask you for more detail abou your servers and storage , and consider network and IT labour in the TCO calculation. as more deatil will help you calculate a more accurate and holistic cost.
