How much memory is anticipated that the CentOS virtual machine will need

Answer #1

CentOS requires minimum of 512 MB of RAM memory when you want GUI. But if you are okay with only command line terminals then it requires only 128 MB. I told you the minimum RAM requirement. As you will increase the RAM size you will see the time differerence in output. I will suggest you to go with minimum of 1GB RAM allocation in virtual memory.

Coming to the HARD DISK requirements. CentOS requires minimum of 10GB space. But the recommended space is 20 GB for smooth accessing of files.

A computer has a cache, main memory, and a disk used for virtual memory. If a word is in the cache, 30 ns are required to access it. If it is in main memory, but not in cache, 50 ns are needed to load it into the cache. And then the reference is started again. If the word is not in main memory, 15 milliseconds (1 millisecond = 106 ns) are required to fetch it from disk, followed by 50...
