As there are 36 applicants and the organization interviews 1 applicant per day, the average case will be on the 18th day (36/2).

Cost Involved = (18x15) + 150 + 200 = $620

b) Cost of hiring in Best - Case Scenario

The hiring may take place on the first day itself.

Cost involved = (1x15) + 150 + 200 = $365

c) Cost of Hiring in Worst - Case Scenario

The hiring takes place on 18th day
