Some of the ethical issues which surround that of reverse engineering for software are that there are many arguments issues related to reverse engineering as well as the usage from that of the commercial point of view which can lead to a common issue while manufacturer would analyze competitors' products. When we look at a major use of this then it is meant for getting interoperability with that of the manufacturer as well as its components.

Most of the companies consider this to be unethical as it helps in enabling with others for the violation of copyright as well as stealing intellectual property which is an ethical issue.
