Suppose you are in the process of drawing the DFDs, and you have found that one of your Level 1 DFD describing a process in level 0, has more than 8 sub-processes. What does that indicate? And How do you fix it?

Answer #1

Data flow diagram is the process of showing the flow of the process using symbols like circle, rectangle etc. It shows the overall flow of the system with sub processes based on its level.

Here in this situation we are deriving level 1 dfd. Which means thus is the further improvement to the level 0 dfd which derives the sub processes of the main process.

So here in this situation I will derive those level 0 dfd process into level 1dfd by showing its 8 sub-processes.
