a) security attack is an attempt made to steal, manipulate or delete the data unauthorized by hacking into someone's network it may also cause some damage to the victim or his system

b) there are 3 types of active attacks, they are

1) masquerade- here it takes place when one entirely acts like a different person

2) modification of messages-here the messages may be redirected or made some changes or made some delay to produce an unauthorized effect.

3) replay-it involves a passive message and its subsequent transmission to produce an unauthorized effect

c). an antivirus is a software utility produced to protect our system or network from different kinds of malware.

d). here the hacker may use different kind of malware which an antivirus cannot detect it, it works under as a shadow.
