Answer : Option c - Uses an algorithm similar to distance vector to exchange routing and reachability information among autonomous systems (AS) on the internet.

Explanation : BGP is defined as the Border Gateway Protocol which uses path vector protocol which behaves like a distance vector protocol.It uses routing tables to find the best path to exchange information among Autonomous systems on the internet. The distance vector and path vector have little similarities in maintaining neighbour nodes in routing tables. The difference is path vector algorithm choose the best path where distance vector choose the shortest distance to transfer the information across the internet. Therefore Option c is correct answer.

Why other options are wrong :

Option a - This is wrong answer because BGP do not use link state algorithm, it uses path vector algorithm which calculates best path.

Option b - This is also wrong answer because BGP is flexible for larger number of Networks and it is specifically used for inter-AS routing.
