• It is a list of project outputs and their associated activities and tasks and is usually depicted as a hierarchical breakdown of the work to be done in the project.
• It takes each output and shows in sequence from general to specific.
• The WBS represents all of the deliverables to be produced by the project for which work activities will be defined, planned, and executed. The WBS provides a clear answer to the question: “What are we going to produce as a result of the project?” Answer: the WBS deliverables.”
