There are four sites that need to be connected. Seoul, Tokyo, Honolulu and Auckland. There are transmission links between Seoul and Tokyo, Tokyo and Honolulu, and Honolulu and Auckland. Honolulu needs to communicate at 1.2 Gbps with each other site. Tokyo must communicate with Honolulu at an additional 1 Gbps. Honolulu and Auckland need an additional 700 Mbps capacity. Tokyo must communicate with Seoul at 500 Mbps. Auckland and Seoul must communicate at 1 Gbps. How much traffic must each transmission link have to carry? Show your work and upload it as a picture.

In order to find the traffic, each link has to carry we need to sum up the traffic at each link.

In the below figure the transmission rates are in Gbps and we add the traffic that each link has to carry.

The transmission between Auckland and Seoul takes place by going over all the links hence the final 1 Gbps is added to all the links.
