Some of the most commonly used apps are Spotify for music, mint for keeping a track of the spendings, Dark sky for getting information about the weather, Google Photos for organized pictures and media, Google Maps which would be used as for navigation and there could be a use of financial management application that is used in day to day life.

Although the most popular database is RDBMS which uses the SQL for creation as well as querying the database like IBM DB2 or MySQL etc. Whereas some of the current databases which are used are NoSQL database. Some of the SQL based database mostly uses the banking system, medical record as well as online shopping
