Constructing Data Flow Diagrams

UniArt company has grown to have different branches across UAE, they want to create a Hiring system to facilitate the employment process for the company.

  • The HR officer initiates a new job application and he sets up the job description. Job descriptions are stored in a separate database.
  • A Job Seeker completes the job application form and uploads his documents, a database for job seekers forms and their documents is created.
  • The system will filter the related applications and send qualified applications to the HR officer.
  • The HR officer schedules an interview on the system, the system will show the scheduled interview to the job seeker.
  • The system will also send the scheduled interview details to the manager (who will interview the job seeker).
  • Both the manager and the job seeker will confirm or request change for the interview time.
  • After the physical interview, the Manager will place the interview results on the system.
  • The system will send interview results to the HR officer.
  • Interviews conducted or not will be stored with their results in a database.
  • if the interview results were positive, the HR officer will initiate on the system a hiring offer to be sent to the job seeker.
  • The job seeker will accept or refuse the offer. If accepted the HR will create a contract to be signed by the Manager first then the Job Seeker who sign it and it will be then stored also into the system.
  • if the interview results were negative, the system will initiate a letter thanking the job seeker for his interests in the job.
