Answer #1

Analog communication and the digital communication plays an important role in todays world.

Analog communication is a mode of communication where the signal varies in both amplitude and time in a continuos fashion and its used for the transmission of contents such as video music and other things.

Digital communication in the other hand where the data is transmitted using discrete varying signals, using the digital communication, it is very possible to organise the data into packets and storage of the data is also easier.

Modern communication uses a mix of analog and digital where the communication used within the systems such as computer etc is digital and the wireless transmission of the data is in analog form.

Using digital communication its also possible to encode/encrypt the data to enhance the security of the data and it can be used for transmission.

A solid-state camera has a 256 x 256 pixel matrix. The analogue-to-digital converter takes 0.20 microseconds (0.20 x 10-6 sec) to convert the analogue charge signal for each pixel into the corresponding digital signal. If there is no time loss in switching between pixels, determine the following: (a) how much time is required to collect the image data for one frame? (b) Is the time determined in part (a) compatible with the processing rate of 30 frames per second?
