Incremental model has alot of benefits . Some are listed below :

  • The cost dellivery is lowered.
  • Since it goes through all the phases, risks are managed easily in incremental model.
  • Here the problem is divided into builds, customers are allowed to respond in each build.
  • Not the least , it is more flexible.

Incremental model allows the interaction of customers in each phase, but in the waterfall model , the interaction of users is allowed only in first phase. In waterfall moldel , the software is delivered to the customers after the completion of it , while as in incremental model, the software can be delivered after completion of each build.
