You have data for 1000 sales representatives working in 150 regions. Which filter is best to use if you want to find the sales of sales representatives 1-20 in regions 40-90?

  1. Data filter
  2. Advanced filter
  3. Data validation
  4. Conditional formatting

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Answer ---- a. Data filter

Reason : "Data filter" is generally used to retrieve the data of particular position based on some selection criteria. It displays only certain selected rows or columns only.

so here in this case to retrieve the data of sales representatives of 1- 20 in regions 40-90. Only this particular data is sufficient. So applying data filter provides the better way.

---------------------------------

Other options like advanced filter, data validation, and conditional formatting are advanced options. If we have multiple data sets and complex arrangements to retrieve any data from that based on any conditions and constraints these will be useful. To select any particular cells information, data filter will be sufficient.
