Describe the ways in which designing a Web site is a similar to and different from designing a store.

Designing a website and designing a store have many similarities :

• Firstly we buy or rent a shop to open a store and we buy a domian name and server to open your website.
• Secondly we design and decorate the place accordingly, similarly in the webstore we would design the UI elements and looks of our website
• Thirdly we would display the items in our store and similarly we would put up the contents of the website.
• And in the store we would set up the cash counter and similarly we would set up cart and payment gateways (if it an e-commerce website).
• And lastly we would promote or advertise the store and that also goes same for the website.

The one difference between a store and a website is that store are real world entity and website is virtual entity all the things mentioned above one is in real world and one is in the internet.
