Practicing ethical behaviour helps to build a very strong team that can raise the productivity of the organisation. There are many research conducted which clearly shows that business having a very good ethical culture means there will be less employee misconduct.

There are many ways an employee can promote work environment in which employees are encouraged to to work ethically.

First we should understand the current ethical culture of our team and the areas in which which needs improvement. This assessment will give result which will show the attitude towards certain things like discrimination among employees and the time theft and also bribery.

Organisation should have a ethical guideline and it shouldn't be only for employees at higher level. Executive working in the companies should be the the role model and should behave ethically they should be very fair and consistent and follow all the rules which employees should follow and they should be very transparent.

There should be some rewards after practicing ethical behaviour which will encourage the employees to practice it.there should be a target and all the criteria in the target should be transparent to the employees.

There shouldn't be any problem if an employee complaints about the poor practices and he should not be punished for this. If an employee is raising an issue against persons of upper hierarchy he should know where he can go to get his issue registered.
