If a database is not maintained or not even updated and a student comes and register for a course. There is a possibility that he's requested may be accepted but he will not be visible in the enrollment list or if incorrect data is updated it will create a chaos taking an example if a student entered detail to enroll in physics class but invalid data entry caused the student to enroll in chemistry class.

If a hospital database has incorrect data it will create a mess not only for patients but also for doctors too. Multiple records can be shown on a single patient or a patient which is admitted but database will not have correct information resulting his absence. Incorrect diagnose and operations can be performed all the management of hospital can be affected by database incorrect data.
